Artforms?
I am a practicing freelance artist, creative director, media designer & system
integrator of new media artworks. I specialise in
the development of collaborative, mixed reality productions that
merge site-specific interactive installation, performance and multimedia practices.
My works are based around ideas of philosophical ecologies.
Research Interests?
My works are grounded in theory. I use them both as strategies for data
gathering to aid theoretical development and also as evidence in themselves.
These directions meld with a Practice-led methodology. Hence these artworks
are significant as both analysable objects and yet also as forms which
live and breathe beyond words and theoretical concepts. Whilst I pursue
multiple methods. I am most inspired by the 'Practice as Research' paradigm.

As
the numbers and impact of the human population grow, the imperative
of confronting the unsustainable becomes more pressing.. it is
the greatest challenge, terror, opportunity and adventure the species has ever
faced
